Pro Oxygen is a personal project with a big goal.  It is a project that aims to contribute to planetary stabilization and the long-term sustainability of human civilization. 
 
Pro Oxygen is contributing by starting work that advances the safe and timely stabilization of the concentration of greenhouse gases in the atmosphere.  The project may be described as a quest for understanding the planet and people in ways that shows and inspires constructive changes for ending the steady fall of oxygen in the atmosphere – by ending the dangerous rise of CO2. 

CO2Now.org is the flagship initiative for Pro Oxygen.   The website makes humanity’s main greenhouse gas visible and raising its public profile.  It does this by presenting Earth’s latest data from leading scientific institutions and bringing focus to the trend for atmospheric CO2.   This work was started in 2007 after I realized that changes in atmospheric CO2 are vitally important to the well-being of civilization and despite this, generally not monitored, understood or discussed in public. 

You are invited to use the CO2Now.org site as a springboard to help bring more attention to the atmospheric CO2 trend.  I hope this work inspires more learning and discovery about how we can all work together to convert dangerous trends into pathways that lead to a future that is safe, sustainable and prosperous.
